Hey Everyone!!! I'm so excited to finally get aquainted with you all! I still can't believe this is happening.. : )
First things first I guess...My name is Brittney Nicole Moore...I just go byBrittney or if you want you can call me Britt. I'm 20 years old and I live in Washington Court House, Ohio. It's a small town in Southern Ohio, the kind where you go to Walmart and see 6 people you know everytime, haha.
I live with my Mom, Dad, and little brother (Brad) who is 17 and just graduated high school. I have a really close family including all of my grandparents and cousins and I love all of them so much!
When I graduated high school I first attended Wright State University majoring in music education. Although music is my passion I decided to switch to going to beauty school because I was afraid of not being able to get a job very easily after college.Being a hair dresser would be a good trade to have so I will always have a job. So I went to Nationwide Beauty Academy starting in January of 2010 and just graduated this past May! To be honest, I'm really dreading getting a job in the hair industry, I'm good at it, but it's definalty NOT my passion. Hopefully I will be able to find a place to work where I fit in and can enjoy myself after I get back from India....
I work at Bare Escuentuals ( like Bare Minerals make up, I know you've seen the infomercial ; )at a mall near my town and I love it there. Everyone I work with are the sweetest girls and it's just a joy to go to work and make women feel good.
I love singing, it's definatly a huge passion of mine! Along with that I play guitar, a little piano and I'm currently learning how to play the mandolin! I love music, all kinds...Indie, Acoustic, Pop, Classical, Rock...everything BUT country. Sorry. lol I love to make things and be crafty, like making jewelry and drawing. I would much rather watch a movie than TV, however I am addicted to The Office, it's totally my sense of humor. I am a huge nerd and I love musical theatre...I almost fainted when I saw Wicked on broadway! haha. I'm really into old movies/musicals....Singing In the Rain, Zeigfield Girls, Top Hat, Marie Antionette...anything with Gene Kelly (favorite actor) or Julie Andrews (favorite actress). My favorite food is cheese, for sure....and I definatly have a sweet tooth.

I have been on a couple missions trips with my youth group at church. I went to New Orleans for a week in 2009 and that was just awesome! We worked on a couple of peoples houses that were completely destroyed. I also just got back from leading a missions trip with my youth group, we went all around Ohio (Dayton, Cincinnati, and Wilmington) doing a bunch of different things to serve others. We worked with a homeless shelter, helped fix up an old church, and worked with a food pantry. We basically did whatever anyone needed help with. This included cleaning out an old basement that haden't been cleaned for 20 years, wheel barrowing mulch to help provide gardens in urban Cinci, and painting. It was great to see the the trip from a leaders perspective and how much work goes into leading these kids.
I have always wanted to go on an international missions trip but have not had the chance until now. I've been researching missions trips and organizations for almost 2 years, trying to find a place, a cause, and a time to do this. God has put India and human trafficking on my heart for awhile now, so I feel so blessed to have this opportunity! I can't wait to get there with you girls and share the love of Christ with these women! I'll be praying for all of you as you are preparing for this incredible trip! Love you guys!
PS- I couldn't figure out how to upload my pic. smaller and I have slow country internet too....sorry for my ginormous face all over my blog. haha.
